I had to build my rats a temporary cage because the babies can fall through the bars (and were starting to) in the old one. I know it's too small but will they be fine in it temporarily?

its better that they're in some place safe until they grow large enough to go into the bigger cage then be going in and out of the bars and all over the house unsupperivised. make sure they get their out time to play as often as possbile and they should be fine until you find them a home or they grow large enough to go back to the larger cage.

Thanks Twitch. Don't worry, babies are getting lots of cuddle and crawl around the bed time, though they're still blind. Da Vinci is getting out as much as I can get her out too, it's Picasso that doesn't get out alot :( but she's still not friendly. She is calming down though.
