Hey hey. i just brought home two rats a couple days ago. they are males and still pretty little..not tiny but def not big. a couple questions i have are one..they keep sneezing..mostly right after being handled and such or if running around their cage smelling. is this just stress sneezing? also, they arent extremely skittish but being from a petstore they are a bit skittish, so i was wondering if youd have any good bonding tips for me.
thanks a lot!

Considering the fact that they're continuously sneezing, I would get them into the vet ASAP for some antibiotics. For trust training, see here (http://www.afrma.org/trusttraining.htm).

Is there any red staining around the eyes or nose? Sometimes when babies first get home (especially from a place like a petstore where they aren't socialised very well) it can be verey stressful, which could lower their imune system and cause a little myco flare-up. I would watch them carefully for the next day or so, but often times antibiotics are not good for very young rats.
A good at home remedy I and other rat owners have found is echinacea. It's a herbal remedy :D. It's a liquid, so I dip a piece of bread in and they think it's a great treat. You can pick it up at almost any pharmacy.
A vet should be consulted though if you notice a large amount of sneezing or red discharge. And please remember none of us on the site are vets, so don't use us to replace one ;).
