What is the best food for rats? Is it lab blocks, or Suebee's mix, or the Shunamite diet, or anything else? I would appreciate any and all advice!

Suebees and Shunamite are both fine. ANd you can feed lab blocks as long as they are suplimented with fresh food and vegies !! Have a look through the diet sticky at the top of this Health section.

Um, just another question... If I was to get Nutro dog food, what kind should I get? There are all sorts of types like senior etc. Should I just get the adult type?

Well, I was looking at a website and I saw that the "Lite" kind only had 14% protein, while the "Senior" type had 22%. Should I be getting the "Lite" type then?

Keep in mind that dog food is not energy dense enough for rats. If you have access to a high quality rat block, that would be your best bet. A diet like Suebees can lead to obesity and a whole whack of health problems.
