So I have had a few things come up with my boys lately. First off is that Romeo's toenails appear thickened and misshapen. He is coming up on 3 years and I believe it to be caused by him not being very mobile anymore. They kind of curve over.
That aside- last night I had Romeo out for cuddles and Ensure, and he's covered in scratches. They look like what would be caused by teeth and are along his shoulders and back. I saw him and Louis wrestling yesterday, and Louis was being some what rough, so I imagine that is when it happened. Louis is 6-8 months old now, so if there will be aggression I expect it will show soon. I don't know if I ought to separate Romeo or not. I'm afraid with his age it could be too hard on him.
And, when I gave Romeo a once over last night after finding scratches, I checked inside his sheath. He had some stuff caught around his penis (looked like dry semen) which I gently wiped off. It smelled awful, like fish. Can I clean his sheath with something or should I just leave it be? There's nothing wrong, just smelly dry semen. Ew! I was thinking either plain water or saline.
