Queenie, Duchess, and Jabberwocky...and a bunch of ratlettes.

Hi!
I'm Shea, and I just wanted to stop by and introduce my ratties.
First off, this is Queenie. She's my oldest rat, at 2 years old, and at the moment has a slight skin condition. As she's aged she's gotten a strange allergy to plastic, so we've been building a grotto cage from a bookshelf for her to enjoy with her two friends.
Her favourite food is celery, covered in applesauce, though I think she likes making a mess with the applesauce even more than she does eating it.
Second, this is Jabberwocky. She's my second hairless rat, and she recently gave birth to her (definitely) last litter. She's also the mother of my first(and last) litter, since I wasn't informed she had been bred until after I brought her home. She's a great mother, and has an awesome little personality, and absolutely loves strawberries. She's also my youngest rat (not counting the litter).
Thirdly, and last of all, is Duchess. Despite being opposites in appearance, she is actually Jabberwocky's mother. She's the middle rat in age, at about 1 1/2 years. She's definitely the calm, quiet motherly one of the three of the ladies, and is always letting Queenie use her as a pillow, and grooming Queenie, who has trouble grooming herself. Her favourite food is mango.

What sweeties.
I want a hairless so bad.
I almost got one as my first ratty but the poor little boy looked quite unhealthy.

I love hairless rats.
I think it may be that fact that they all look like grumpy old men.
My first hairless was a sick little girl, who didn't live very long.
I'm glad i'm having a much better experience with Jabberwocky.

Jabberwocky looks more double rex than hairless. Cute kids!

You really think so?
I've been wondering about the fur she has, since my previous hairless was nothing but skin.

Yep. She looks like she has very fine, wavy fur and curly whiskers. Double rex traits

Aw!
I've been wanting a double rex, and never even stopped to think I had one.
I always thought she was considerably a hairless.
But she came up to the cage just now an I looked at her belly, and she's covered in fur.
I suppose it's because it's the same colour as her skin, so I can't really see it since she doesn't stop moving.
