THIS IS INTENDED TO BE A SIMPLE AND EASY LIST OF GOOD REPUTABLE BREEDERS ONLY[/i]

please post all pertinent contact information to breeders that you know of. that of course includes the name of the breeder or rattery, the location, any websites, and/or mailing/email addresses, even phone numbers if you have them. but ONLY that.

if a discussion about a breeder arises here DO NOT engage in the conversation. contact a mod- forensic, reachthestars or myself-or to contact all of them modreport- to correct the error.

HOWEVER

if you would like to discuss the breeder then please do so in the "Accidental Litters" section. you may add a link to any discussion about a breeder by editing the post where the contact information for that breeder is. if you did not make that post you can contact a mod to add the link to the discussion for you.

when/if this thread gets long enough i will alphabetize by location all information given in the reserved post for easier perusal.

Websites are the first impressions. This is why breeders should post their pedigrees meaning the rat's background information. If rats are imported, that should be stated as well and give the details of the original rattery.
There should be an adoption contract and we should be able to view this as well. Also stats on health and lifespan would be nice. If none of this exists in trying to make the first impressions, then I'd automatically call it a backyard breeder.

For all the guys in the UK I'd highly recommend Nicola Broadbridge at Cariad Rats... She lives down in West Wales and breeds Blues, Wheatens and Siamese and they're beautiful!!!

I had a hard time getting on the waiting list but I finally got my hands on 2 of her Blues!!! :D:D Expect to see them on Meet My Rats soon
