This is my cage - it's 180 cm tall, 62cm wide, and 37cm deep. It is, in fact, three rsk cages stuck together and I need to stand on a chair to see the top level. My nine girls love it, although my baby Bella does make some rather nerve-wracking manoeuvres. We have lots of igloos (there are two more in there that were not inside the cage when I photographed it), grassy tunnels, fiddle sticks, hammocks and a peg basket (which is just new, so they're still getting used to it). There are some up-sized levels in there, because my girls like to push things around when I turn out the lights, and this way they don't fall off the levels. You'll also notice that there is a piece of green fleece hanging out the side near the wheel. This is because I have one girl in particular who loves to nest, so this keeps her occupied; otherwise she drives herself crazy organising the igloos, which the others just mess up immediately after she's done. I have left the pans in, and cut holes in them, as this helps make cleaning much easier, as my girls know to toilet on these levels. Makes it easy!

Because it is so tall, it does tend to lean forward a little, so what I've done is wedge a few cm of wood under the front at the bottom, so that it is tilted upwards. This gives me peace of mind too, because if it's shoved, it'll likely go back, where it has the wall to support it. It does look like it's leaning to the side, but it's really not.

Cage for my two rat girls.
I change the levels/toys/etc every week... so its never quite the same cage twice!
Right now it looks like this:

(I'm aware that the litter pan is tiny. They were rather small when we got them and got the pan for free- upgrading this week to a bigger pan)

My girls don't tend to enjoy hammocks, thats why there aren't any in there right now. I'm sewing some pocket-hammocks right now in hopes they'll enjoy those a bit more. Smiley

My beastie

I made this cage from my first cage (at the top) and 2 Ferplast Jennys, all held together with cable ties. It stands a total of 6.5 feet (A little over 2 metres). Pic is not so good though...

Here is my rat cage for my three lovely girls Blossom, Hester and Milo
I made it out of a kitchen cabinet and replaced the panel in the front door with mesh, cut holes in each level with ladders leading to each one. I also cut holes in the side of the cage, the exact size of ferret tubes. These lead up and down to each level. On the roof of each level are loads of hooks to hand different toys and hammocks so the whole thing changes each time they get cleaned out. They love investigating each time it changes. :-)

This is Juno and Bailey (my new babies) cage. It's a little big, used to be for Harry but we never could use it because Harry was to much of a free spirit. We are selling it soon for a more cosy cage as we dont think a 4 level cage for 2 rats is quite nessecary.

Birdseye from the top:

Level 4

Level 1

Replacing level 2 and 4 with hammocks as soon as they arrive in the post!

This is my first cage plus another cage added together (first one is the white and blue bars).

Top story

Middle section

No bottom floor pic though.

I then got a new cage that's smaller in height but larger in width and length. And I chucked some hammonks and that in too. Their first hammocks and they love them^_^

Notice the little furkid in the house with it's mouth open^_^

Top story, the girls love the curtain thingys^_^

Bottom story and first hammock.

I took the cool stuff out of their "house" and sewed some cotton fabric into so they don't chew on the harmful plastic and stuff. Plus it's getting cold so now it's nice and warm inside with their blankets.^_^

Hopefully I'm getting new bigger cages soon for more room and more furkids^_^

this is the cage for my 2 girl rats, it`s a ferretville 82c2, it`s really empty in this pic as i was in the middle of cleaning it but it`s full of chew toys etc now.  it`s 32 x 20 x 39.5"

if anyone has any suggestions of anything fun i can add please let me know, i have no idea how to add more hammocks since it`s really high but would love to have more!

they also have a large log house, wodent wheel and a parrot piniata in there but i'd like more hammocks.

I have two cages right now: A chinchilla cage and a bookshelf, grotto-style cage we made at home. They're rearranged about every time I do an all-out clean at the end of the week, so they're rearranged (and a little better) right now, but you get the point.

Here's the Christmas-miracle, $8 chinchilla cage:

It houses the two girls I'm keeping, Alice and Zap, at this time. Smiley

And here's the $6 bookshelf cage we made at home:

Damian and Anthon are staying in the top, and Fletcher is at the bottom all on his very lonesome. Sad Temperamental rat, he is.

The chinchilla cage for size comparison to a person - in this case, Emily. Measurements are:
30" wide, 18" deep, 21" tall including the base. The shelves both measure 10" wide and 18" deep.

Bookshelf cage comparison. Its measurements are:
About 27" wide, 11" deep (I know, not very deep at all :/) and six feet high. There are five levels including the base with the same measurements as the bookshelf.

Damian and Anthon's three-quarters of the bookshelf cage.

And Fletcher's part. Needs more decorating.

The chinchilla cage contains:
Zap's favorite basket with a pillow
Alice's hanging basket
Rope with wooden beads for chewing
Trampoline hammock
Level blanket
Hanging tube.. thing
Corner hammock
And, now, a litter box
That's all so far. I'm hoping to add to it as I go. Smiley

Booskehlf cage contains:
Top:
Damian's favorite basket witha towel and a dog chew rope
Litter box with a "mat"
Hammock
Bird chew toy
Hanging basket, not in picture
Clubhouse
Tube
Bottom:
House, with blanket
Blanket under food bowl
Tube
Box under tube ramp, containing a blanket and strips of towel (Now, at least; peanuts in the picture)
Litter box with mat

So that's my cage situation right now. Smiley I'm really looking into getting a nice new cage.. my eye seems to gravitate towards this one from Super Pet: http://www.ferret.com/ItemDetail.aspx?ItemNo=650815
Not that I don't appreciate my bookshelf cage, but its depth really saddens me because my poor boys don't have a lot of room to run around even if they have enough to move comfortably. :/ Just as well, it really lacks the decoration opportunities I've come to love about all-wire cages.
If I were to get the Super Pet, Anthon would be neutered by then and so him, Damian, Zap and Alice would share it and Fletcher would have the chinchilla cage. But, right now it's just pining more than a reality considering I lack money and room.. but there's always Christmas.

I have 2 small girls (you can see Carrot on the hammock there) in this cage, and we are looking to expand upwards later this year.

They have a soft ferret tube and a solid rat tube and a pillowcase for a hammock. They also have an easter egg box for a bed at the mo, a parrot foodbowl, 2 water bottles and lots of shredded paper. They have had lots of toys in the past but they don't really play with them so I took them out to make space. I plan to make them an octopus soon.

The small cage on top is our hospital cage which Carrot has spent the last 3 weeks in, and to the left by the floor is their carrier. There is also a small panel heater above that you cant see. They currently have it on all day as we dont have central heating. Its barely warm but it takes off the chill.

Here ais a closer shot
