Just fyi... you can always subsitute mint extract for the peppermint extract if you really have to... I ran into a huge issue where I went to literally 12 stores until I found peppermint extract the week before that competition! LOL And you can always add a little somethin else to the vanilla icing too if the occasion calls for it. (I used a dash of peppermint schnapps once in the icing instead of the amoretto in the dough.)

Hopefully you get this! It's the website that has the recipe for the peppermint candy cane cookies I made and a couple other winning recipes from the contest... Those were pretty good too! Enjoy and let me know how they come out! :-)

Howdy Babs! my many rats are saying good mornin and the pups are just squeaking (all they want is food hehe) hopefully the world seems brighter and happier today :-)
