I have a problem. It is called the Craigslist pet section. More specifically, the "search" feature, allowing me to zoom directly to all things that mention rats.

So I found this little guy....

Can I have him please? I have only a few irrational requests-
1. Have the old owner neuter him (which I would pay for, of course)
2. Have the old owner keep him for me until I get back to Oregon in two weeks
3. Intro him to my girls
4. Drag him back halfway across the country when I return to school in August. It's nothing my girls won't be doing, but still, he'll only have known me for less than two months.

But he's SOOO cute! He looks like such a little lovebug!

All the ad says is "unfortunately I can't keep him." But he's described as being a "fun, loves to be handled kind of rat," so that can't be bad!

I KNOW! He's such a looker.

But I would have to get parental permission for this one, we'll see... They're getting pretty good about letting me get pets now that I'm out of the house (most of the year), though I can still sometimes sense my father grinding his teeth or something about the girls... He's not a big animal person...
