    Default Anyone from Australia?

Hey guys, just wondering I anyone on here is from Australia as all the great information you guys give generally doesn't apply to me as you talk about American brands and sometimes fruit ad veg we don't tend to eat here or have different names.
If there is it would be lovely if you could let me know what cereal is okay for rats other then the obvious oats, cornflakes, cheerios. Thank you!

Hello I'm from Adelaide. Did you know that there is an Australian rat forum too? I sometimes go on there but I find this one to be more active. When it comes to cereals I don't think it really matters what type just don't go crazy on the sugary ones. Mine love weetbix with a little milk ( or kitten milk is better) or on the rare occasion fruit loops, but that's only as a treat.

    Ah perfect!
Fruit loops and nutrigrain where the ones I wonder about most!
Also do you know if our Cheerios are different to America as I ate a few and it's almost as if they have a light honey coating although it doesn't say it anywhere I don't want to feed my rats too much naughty foods! I've also given them weetbix by there selves and with a little bit of lactose free milk and water. They seemed to like that a lot!
This is my preferred forum as Its the only one I've come across with an app so it's a lot easier to use and everyone is very helpful. Thank you for your help!

australianratforum.com is a great Australian rat community, I personally don't feed mine anything more than pellets, with th occasional left overs. However I am sure there are plenty of other Australians who feed theirs cereal, join and ask

    Okay thank you very much!
I just like to feed them human food because it makes me feel like a real mum preparing it and what not :P

I just do fruit loops as a treat but if I have them I chuck nutrigrain in the mix. I'm not sure if Cheerios are any different here I'm guessing they would be about the same. And yes they are very sugary it's not something you would want to feed all the time. They really like porridge too specially hen it's a cold day, warms them up a bit. Yeah I must admit I really like this forum more I think people are a lot more helpfull
