Seeking Rat Cage!! [Northern NJ]

Hello, all!

I am going to be a new, first time rattie owner!!

I've been doing a TON of research, writing down everything I need to know.
And I am ready to start gathering supplies before purchasing the little guys!

I was hoping I could de-clutter someone's home by picking up a second-hand cage.
I would love for it to be a multi-level.
Size does not matter. I have plenty of space in my room.

I live in Northern NJ, 20 minutes from the Delaware Water Gap.
If anyone nearby has a cage they no longer want please let me know!
And if you have current rats I would love to see them and play with them!

Hi fellow Northern NJer! LOL Try craigslist.com for used cages... you might have to spruce them up a bit but I'm sure you can get it to how you need it! Also, if it's not too far from you, try the Petsmart on rt 23 in Wayne. It's worth the drive. The will usually have discontinued cages for a really decent clearence price (a guinea pig cage I got that was discontinued was the best ever! It was a &*%$(&*$&%$( to put together but it was definitely a steal! Give them a call to find out if they have anything before making the drive though

Hey! I live in North Jersey too.

I am looking to sell a Martin Rat Tower (R-690) which has been used since August. It is power coated and is in great shape.

I also have a BRAND NEW Martin (RT-630) which is a double story tank topper for a 20 gallon tank. Its a bit narrow for rats though, depending on if you get males or females.

I am re-doing my room in April so this will be when I am getting a new cage, most likely. However, it could be earlier. Let me know if you are interested.
