My boyfriend has, yes. He was extremely aggressive towards the gloves and we couldn't get a good angle on him to pick him up because he was in a corner. My boyfriend said he was tail flicking and bit the gloves multiple times in an agressive manner, but I was in the other room at the time getting their play area set up so I didn't witness his body language. When I bring the gloves to his face to sniff, he bites them repeatedly, (and I eep at him) but I don't notice any puffing up or tail flicking. If I were to present my bare finger for him to sniff, he always tries to bite after sniffing for a second.
Their foster caretaker and I decided it would be in their and my best interests in the long run if I were return them to her. I don't believe they were "bad" rats at all-- I'm just not sure if they were the right pair for a person who has never had a rodent as a companion animal before.
