i finally went to the hardware store the other night thinking i could make a cage cheaper than i could buy one used....as it turns out..that aint gonna happen...the supplies i would need to build a decent cage would be more expensive (i dont have anything not even a hammer or nails)
where did everyone get there cages? did anyone build one?

im not willing to pay more than 50 dollars for a bigger cage...i am thrifty like that..and i dont want a store bought one cos they are crappy and have bars for ramps and shelves.....
everyone seems to have awesome cages...whats the deal here did i miss the cheap awesome cage truck when it went by?

My BF and I made a cage topper that was 2 stories high that fit a 50 gal tank, so it was 3 stories altogether. We paid about $30-40, no more than that. It was a pain in the butt to make though and a pain to clean. After some months I decided to buy a cage at petco...Its a Mmarchioro brand, I think its one of the biggest cages they have. It was around $55-60. I wish I could have gotten a stand for it but the stands alone easily sell for over $100. :'(

Try craigslist I found a tall cage with all the supplies for 50. Owner was having a baby so she had to get rid of her animal. It was in perfect shape too.
