I have a couple of questions for ya'll but here is my situation.
I have an almost 2 yo girl (Lilliana) who lost her cagemate a few months ago and a younger girl (Cleopatra) who i adopted from my lps because she had a respitory infection that they had treated and it didnt seem fair that she was cured and then became snake food so they let me adopt her. She has been quarentined for about a month now and I am starting to introduce them. It seems to be going really well. At first they ignored each other but then Lilly started grooming Cleo. The second meeting they ended up crammed together in a small box with both there heads sticking out  It was adorable! (i wish I had my camera!!). I just ordered an FN that I will be putting them in together.
Anyways...I have been feeding them kaytee labblocks because I know labblocks are better than the store seed mixes and kaytee is the only brand of labblock my lps has (i didnt know that I could feed dog food). However i have now found out kaytee isnt the best food.
Am I right in thinking that labblock (even being Kaytee) is better than the store seed mixes?
And
If i were to switch their food to a dog food/grain mix would it upset their stomachs like if you switch foods in dogs?
If that is the case I will not switch it until they get settled into the FN because new cage + new cagemate + new diet (with upset stomachs) = too much stress IMO.
Thanks for reading and the feedback
