A good vet....I'm a little worried

So I have been looking around for a good vet to neuter the boys and there are some that treat rats but very few actually neuter. I have been trying to contact many vet hospitals and one was asking an outrageous price to get one rat neutered and another vet said she had never neutered a rat but said she would if I wnted her to...."no thanks" I am not goign to put my boys in the hands of an unexperienced vet. It looks like I'm going to have to start looking at vets about an hour away....sigh....but it will be worth it if I get a better price and a more experienced vet who Knows what they are doing. I want the best for my boys....it is quite the challenge though......
