Hello all! New to the forum, and wanting to share our story with some rat fans! We are a small scale rat sanctuary/rescue in Canada, founded in honour of an amazingly unique rat Frankie, and the special bond with her human. Our goal is to help as many rats as we can, and show others that rats are amazing, changing the negative stereotypes they鈥檝e been associated with!

I鈥檇 love if you could follow us/subscribe on our social media, and share our story!

I love the video! What a great story! What a lucky girl Frankie was! Im happy to hear the successes of the rescue... You changed the world for those animals. I agree, if more people knew how much like puppies rats are ( think smarter puppy...ha ha) they might embrace them more. I honestly thought EVERYBODY knew pet rats are not wild. Yet over and over and over I get asked if I caught the rats behind my house, etc. Good luck with the rescue ! Frankie would be proud!

What a beautiful and heart warming story, thankyou so much for sharing it.What a lovely soul Frankie is .I have had a bond like that with a Siamese rat too and you never stop missing them or thinking about them, though the pain of losing them does ease over time.I think Himalayan and Siamese rats are extra quirky. It is amazing work you are doing,Bless You and your Sanctuary馃専馃惌馃惐馃惗馃惏馃専

Right on, thanks for sharing! If I still lived in Ontario I'd totally look into getting my next rats from your rescue.
