Hi everyone,

I recently purchased two lovely little lady rats and was wondering as to the best place to have the cage located.

I work from home and it's nice to have them about in the room but it is a busy room from 8am to well, anything up to 2am! (I don't work long hours I just split it up etc)

My worry is whilst I am keen for them to get to know my scent and my noises etc, I am worried they may not be getting the rest they need?

I could pop them in our bedroom or the lounge, where do other keepers recommend please ?

All the best.

Nigel.

They will keep you up at night in your bedroom. They'll be fine wherever you're working.

Rats are curious and like to be near you so they won’t mind being near where you work. They have sensitive eyes so don’t like strong sunlight or artificial light shining right in the cage,so some where shady and draught free is best, also away from strong smells such as air fresheners as they have sensitive respiratory systems too.....oh and welcome to the forum🐭😁
