I made the mistake of letting my Nezume have soda a few times and now EVERY time I open a soda can she starts spazing out!! And she hasn't had any!!! Even if I'm in another room and then walk in THERE SHE IS!!!!! Spazed and.... and.... it just cracks me up!!! :lol: :lol: :lol:

Careful on the soda... only a few tiny drops are okay!

And yes, they get conditioned really easily. Mine go apesh!t when they hear rustling plastic, and it only took 3-4 instances of rustling plastic paired with food to do it.

Crickets? Like... bugs? Icky! I don't mind bugs, but I don't think I could feed them... yet another reason I cannot have a lizard. :lol:

I tease my girls with real bird feathers. They go ballistic!! I swear if they got hold of a LIVE bird... 8O ...EEEEWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It'd get BAD!! As in blood-gore mess..... again EEEEWWWWW!!!!!!!!

I bet they're not as bad as mine when they smell any kind of meat being cooked!!

Things like crickets and worms are great sources of protein and entertainment.

One of my rats will eat anything sugary and one will actually say NO to chocolate and eat her weight in cheesy, salty things.
