Does anybody use baby play pens to let their rats have some free roaming/play time? I really really REALLY want to get one, but I'm having a bit of troubles finding one, I think they'd really enjoy one because they could climb up the little holes on the sides (of course they'd be constantly supervised) and i think it would also make a great place to put them while cleaning out their cage... I'm also wondering if one was turned upside down the rats could be left unsupervised underneath it WHILE i was cleaning their cage?

I think they may chew through the mesh on the sodes if it was upside down and unspupervised. Other than that check at garage sales! Sound like a good idea for free range time.

I'm getting a fold up baby play pen off ebay to use the same way. I will probably just toss a sheet over the top when It will be unsupervised.
