I know this may be a dumb question, I just got my new stainless steel bass pans in the mail and I wanted to know if there is anything special I need to do to take care of them to make sure they stay in good shape. Obviously they're sealed unlike the galvanized ones that you need to paint, but what do you clean yours with? Can water harm them, should I make sure they're 100% dry, etc.

I wipe mine down with baby wipes when I clean them. I also spray them down with diluted WhipIt cleaner and wipe that up... I used to use vinegar on the plastic pans, but I don't like the idea of putting acid on the nice metal ones. :p

Based on what I'm reading generally about stainless steel, not on these specifically, no bleach (good to know) and white vinegar is fine.

I asked the Bass customer service when I got mine and she said to wash them in soap and water and that no pre-treatment was needed to seal them before use. (if stainless steel).
