Rats will sometimes get a little porphyrin (my spelling sucks, mind) about the eyes and nose when they haven't cleaned up in a while. If it's in small amounts, it's probably okay. If it's large amounts or it doesn't look like it's getting cleaned up you may want to watch for other signs of illness.
"Bleeding" eye ?
Hi guys, I'm sure this has been asked and answered, but what is going on if my little girl has what looks like a "bloody" eye?
Is this at all common? I thought I read somewhere that they get "bloody" noses if stressed.

Could be related, yeah... Have you changed anything in their environment? Used anything with a strong scent or anything?
Hopefully it's nothing to bad, but definitely keep an eye on her. If her breathing seems labored or she doesn't want to eat or drink or seems lethargic or anything she'll definitely have to see a vet.
