Hi, i'm thinking of getting two rats. What are the recommended minimum cage dimensions? Any recommendations of paticular cages etc would be great too. Thanks

In general, 2 sq. ft per rat is recommended. Many people prefer something with all dimensions longer than 16" so that a rat can stretch each way. Here's a cage calculator: http://www.rattycorner.com/odds/calc.shtml to enter particular cage dimensions in to check them (make sure you've turn it to inches or centimeters, whichever you need.)

Martin's cages are highly recommended (online, with powder-coat, usually flip-top lid and pull out tray...)

Ferret Nation's are great, but expensive...

Converted bird cages can work awesomely. :)

Thanks. I was looking at a Savic Freddy 2. Does this seem ok?

EDIT: I've just realised it has a wire floor. I guess this is bad.
