Re: citrus fruits - here's an article that supports rats CAN have citrus fruits. Dispelling the "Rats can't eat Citrus" myth

But the TLDR is that in order for oranges, lemons, etc. to be dangerous your rat would have to essentially live on only oranges, or eat literal pounds (as in a hundred) in one sitting.

Yup, they fed them EXCLUSIVELY the citrus, Giving anything exclusively will cause problems.

Everything in moderation.😉 Yes, there are definitely foods that we can't give to our Rats, but outside of that we're alreet. Apples pears and stone fruits are fine as long as you avoid the core or stone. No seeds or pits!❤
