I am an RVT at an emergency veterinary hospital where we see a lot of things like injuries, illness, and accidents. I think it is safe to say that most of us on this forum have been in a scary situation like that; one that we hadn't planned on. Ideally, we would all have an emergency fund to cover expenses... but it doesn't always work out that way.
I just wanted to let you guys know (at least in the US) that Care Credit is a good tool for pet owners. It is like a credit card, but for medicine. www.carecredit.com has more information.
In a nut shell: Please don't neglect to treat your sick or injured animals for financial reasons. This will help; most vets accept it.
