When checking in on Beau, I noticed a droplet or two of blood had soaked into sone of his bedding. His behaviour appears normal, and he is still eating. My friend (a fellow rat owner) suggested that it may be his gums as I couldn't find any scratches on him. Any one have tips on either helping him be more comfortable as his teeth grow, or should I find a local rat experienced vet? (I planned on doing that regardless)

I hope so, but Ithought that was associated with stress. He was happy and relaxed. I guess I'll just have to keep an eye on him,and continue hoping it's nothing to worry about!

Like someone else said, it may be porphorin. He could have sneezed and it stained the bedding. Just keep an extra eye out for him
