Hi guys!
The last few days I've been noticing that one of my girls sounds a little "thick" when she breaths, and she occasionally sneezes.
It's not all the time and it's very quiet, you have to have her right on your shoulder to hear her, but it sounds like her lungs are a little congested.
Her sister doesn't have any of her symptoms, and it's been a few days that she's been this way so perhaps it's not contagious... or even anything to worry about, but I do have them separated for the time being.
Now the reason I have yet to take her to a vet is that her behavior has not changed in the slightest. She is just as active as always and eating and drinking and running about exactly the same as before. She doesn't seem lethargic and there are no crusties around her nose or eyes.
So, is it possible that she is having seasonal allergies? Do rats have that? It just seems so odd, and I don't know if there is anything that I even need to worry about given all the details of the situation.
Any thoughts?? Thanks guys!
