I have 2 girls about 9 months and as of the past few weeks they've been fighting constantly (several times a day). I know that rats play fight but is it still playing when it's this frequent? It usually doesn't end up in squeaking but there are those moments. Any advice?

probably trying to show each other who's the boss. if there's no blood or squealing, there's usually nothing to worry about.

I have some rats that do this all the time too. As long as there is no blood there is no foul. I think some rats are just really whiny, but I haven't seen any damage to any of my own rats so I don't worry about it too much. Though they wake me up and I hate it.
