i made a couple of bean bags for wolfy.....they were chewed in less than 12 hrs.... i think he was trying to eat the filling (uncooked rice)

Many rattie rescues and the like make and sell hammocks. They're pretty well priced, and you get to know that your rattie is helping rescue ratties! I ordered a hammock recently from Mainly Rat Rescue, and by the time I got done having too much purchasing fun, my total was still less than $12.

I don't know how that works in the UK (or to the UK, from an American rescue), but it's worth a look, I'd think.

This weekend I'm going to try sewing hammocks (proper ones, not ghetto. lol). I'll post my results and see how long they last before I try to put together my own step-by-step instructions.

Rats dont need expensive fancy hammocks

they love warmth and cozyness. I have found that the best hammocks are homemade ones. keep practicing on ur hammocks theyll get better.
