this is one of the very first pics i took of willow. I almost named him dumbo because of his big ears int he pet store. his ears are the reason i bought him. he just looked so cute.

My mum went to the petstore to buy 3 female rats(just like i did 3 days before she wanted them lol)

and the pet store said 18pounds for the 2 dumbo but they looked nothing like dumbos mum asked about it and turns out the daddy was dumbo and mummy was normal standard rat ..so mum asked could she be charged for ur regular rat and not one that i supposed to be a dumbo so maybe there half breed like my mums lol

dumbo is not a breed

In fact there are no rat breeds... only different varieties of rats.

If you have one parent that is dumbo & one that is top-eared you have a small percentage of the babies will have dumbo ears (I believe 25% will have that ear placement, but don't quote me on that)
