Hello, sorry, I know I keep posting about Edgar.

I just noticed his breathing is very VERY fast, it's like his chest is vibrating, and he's occasionally making low squeaky sounds like... a hiccup or something.

His breathing has been fast this whole time but it is really really fast now, I'm terrified.

Do you think he's nearing his end? The vet said he wouldn't make it and I didn't want to believe it.

I should add that, despite this, he is acting quite normal, grooming and eating etc. Is this normal, if he is in respiratory distress?

Is this funny breathing constant?

My boys sometimes go through funny two-minute episodes of making hiccuping/squeaky noises then they stop. They've done it since I've had them, so I've never thought it something to worry about?

The fast breathing is constant, but last night he had a brief period of hiccuping or something.

The breathing is back to being very fast. Ho hum.
