Fear of thunderstorms??
Being a year and a half old, I do not think Roxy and Daisy have experienced a lot of thunderstorms. A couple hours back we had a loud one go through. Both girls seemed a but stressed, and were scurrying all over the cage. Rick suggested we take them out and hold them, to calm them. He took Daisy, I took Roxy. He told me Daisy was shaking like a leaf, and immediately ran under the blanket he had on his lap. For several minutes all he saw was her nose poking out. Roxy was not shaking, but was running all over my lap. She finally went up to her "safe place" on my shoulder and seemed better. We held them until the noise went away and then I put them back. They are now in her hammock sound asleep as if nothing happened.
