Ferrets are carnivores so ferret food would be a hard-no for rats. If you want to let them nibble on a tiny bit as a treat, it's probably fine but this wouldn't be a good diet for rats.
Omnivores don't necessarily require meat as long as their diet is properly balanced. People are omnivores but vegetarians can be perfectly healthy!I am confused because Oxbow and Science Selective have no meat products from what I can see and they are omnivores.
You'd probably have to ask brand new member Clueeee how they've chosen to rank these different diets. I don't know what their criteria is.Interesting. so why is versele laga third on the list and the others are "better"?
