Agree with everyone else! Some diet recommendations; UK/Europe Science Selective Rat and Mouse, certain pig 🐷 feeds in certain places. USA/CA Oxbow Essentials Adult Rat Food ; the young rat is not good for rats due to it's protein being a bit high, and neither is the garden select due to it's contents. Mazuri 6f is a bit to high in protein as well, better for breeding does from what I know. Otherwise, get Versele Laga Complete Rat and Mouse, it's not as good as the oxbow or science selective but still decently good. :D`
For the most part my young rats have been on Versele Laga, I like that it has salmon oil and a better balance with chicken meat. What about this one? I am confused because Oxbow and Science Selective have no meat products from what I can see and they are omnivores.

Omnivores don't necessarily require meat as long as their diet is properly balanced. People are omnivores but vegetarians can be perfectly healthy!

Science selective appears to be vegetarian, Oxbow Garden Select contains an ingredient that is a synthetic compound mirroring an amino acid found in meat. Oxbow Essentials contains fish.
Interesting. so why is versele laga third on the list and the others are "better"?
