So I have quite a crew. 6 rats, 2 bunnies and a hamster. As you can guess, I go through food really fast. So I need some options. I feed the rats Oxbow, for adults. I don't mind chnging, but I'd prefer not to. I live in Canada so I need some Canuck friendly options.

This is costing me $20 a month. Sometimes more, sometimes less depending on weights. Kennedy in particular is really skinny (does anyone else have a lanky rat?) compared to his chubba younger brother. The hamster gets some rat pellets too, but not enough to count.

You guys with large mischiefs, what do you do?

I feed oxbow even though it is a bit more expensive and I am feeding 15! rats but I feel it is worth it. In the US the best price is drsfostersmith http://www.drsfostersmith.com/product/prod_display.cfm?pcatid=16965 where it is $39.99 for 20lbs and very cheap or free shipping depending on if u add more items. But I believe the shipping to Canada is crazy expensive making it not worth it for u :(

here is a facebook group https://www.facebook.com/groups/OntarioRodentBreeders/ u might have luck asking there and seeing if someone locally knows of a better deal.

Goodluck!
