A new rat who I introduced yesterday to my group of 5 others has started bleeding on her foot. I think it's coming from between her toes but can't work it out completely. I have got her in a carrier and have cleaned the wound with salt water and put some corn flour on it. It's too late to take her to the vets. Do you think I need to in the morning? She's cleaning it herself and the bleeding has definitely calmed but this is my first rat injury so naturally I'm panicking!

They do heal really fast. One of my girls hurt her leg when she got it tangled up in a hole in a hammock and was hanging upside down thrashing about when I got to her. Her ankle was already bruising and swelling immediately and I expected it to look horrible the next day. But the next morning, like 12 hours later, it looked as if nothing ever happened! I was thoroughly amazed!
