I have been spending the majority of my night looking for good breeders as I am trying to get 2 baby rats. I have seen alot of people saying that there are no good breeders in Canada at all! Has anybody had experience with a good Canadian breeder (preferably Ontario). I would hate to have to get rats from the pet store.
Well you don't have to get them from a pet store. You can try online at like kijiji or something else. There are probably plenty of rats that need homes. Especially with all that is going on right now. Most breeders in general would be in the south, i live in central Ontario. So the only one i found here looked legit and i was about to get mine from them. But they are asking for a lot, like 60 bucks for a pair of rats. IDK if they have changed their prices now. But from looking on the site it seems like they have a new litter coming. I still recommend finding rats that just need a home.
Well i assumed it was for a pair because it says they only sell in pairs. But ya it is stupid expensive. Probably good but i still recommend finding rats that need a home.
