Hello!
My Husband and I just adopted a new member to our family, a little Blue and White Female Rat that we named Zoey.
I have owned rats before in my younger years, but to be honest - I took care of them like I did my Hamsters. I lost my girl to a tumor she had and I never owned a Rat again.
That was in 1991, and now it is 2007 and my Husband and I need as much help as possible. I've been searching all over the internet Googling Rats, Training, Care and I came across this forum - I thought "what a better idea on getting to know other Rat Owners...or better yet....Folk Owned By Rats" than to join a forum to gain as much knowledge and get as much advice as possible to make sure our Little Zoey is healthy, happy and taken care of properly.
My Husband took me to the Pet Store today to look at Hamsters, but when he and I saw the tank with a litter of Female Blues, we went AWWWWW and had to bring her home.
I'll be asking allot of questions
I hope no one gets too annoyed
