I just wanted to introduce myself and the rat rescue I run. 
Rodere Rat Rescue is located near Ashland, Kentucky. We are 2 1/2 hours south east of Columbus, Ohio.
We take in mostly rats, but occasionally if finances permit, we will rescue other animals, including puppies and kittens. We have also had two reptiles in our care that have since found homes, but we try to avoid them because of their costly upkeep and their potential to hurt the small rescues here.
We've been in operation for a little more than a year and we've successfully placed 50 or so rats into good loving homes We've also taken some of our rescues back, so I need to do a recount on that number.
