How can you tell if a rat is grinding her teeth out of stress or happiness? When Mocha is out for playtime, she hops around (sort of like running around with a "skip" in her step) and grinds her teeth.
I've seen Chai do the bruxing and boggling thing... I KNOW that is out of happiness... but Mocha's is more of a grinding/clicking sound when she is running around and sitting on shoulders.
I'm worried that we may be stressing her out. I'm only asking because she used to be a very aggressive and fearful rat... so I worry that she still might not enjoy being out of her cage.
