I always see these metal jaw harp shaped hooks, and I was wondering......

1. what they are
2. where to get them
3. how much they cost


I apologize for the double topics but i'm trying to do major cage remodels

I just bought a sewing machine yesterday, and I have yet to set it up, so I'm planning on going sewing crazy. I used sewing machines in high school, and a few times since but it might take me a bit to remember how to do everything! I'm just planning on making the basic hammocks for right now but I need ideas for how to hang them!

about the plastic puzzle cubes. I see them in cages when people post pictures. They are large plastic squares that fit together to make boxes. I looked at targert christmas tree shops, and walmart but I have yet to find them. Do they make them anymore???

Will I actually find them if I go to a major toy store? This will save me some time if I know I shouldn't bother looking for them

I'm not sure about the hooks, since I just use paper clips, but is this the cube you're talking about?

actually that IS it....... I remember that they made toys for children that looked similar, so perhaps they don't actually make what i'm thinking of anymore.

I'm heading out to petsmart today anyway, so I'll see if they have them!

They're shower curtain hooks. Look at any store in the bathroom section

ya don't say! Shower curtain HOOKS.......... I'm used to shower curtain RINGS, and I have never noticed hook before. At least not cheap ones. I've seen rather lovely metal hooks with beads and such attached to the end........anyhoo I'll go have a look see for them tomorrow!

My mistake, "rings" is more appropriate. Again, sorry LOL

They usually have some really cheap plain metal sets right by the other fancier ones

I think someone mentioned that sometimes those plain ones are actually found with the regular curtains, and not the shower curtains for some reason. In case you can't find them where they should be ^_^
