Does anyone own one of these pens?

And if so, does it work for keeping the ratties in one place? I have a huge room that I keep empty since it's my photography studio, and it would be perfect for play time, but it has a four-foot entry way with no doors. I'm hoping I might be able to use this pen to block it off.

That looks like it'd work really well. They can't climb it like an ex-pen, and it seems to be a decent size. Not bad for the price either! My only worry would be how difficult it would be to store. And I don't know if they could find someplace to chew it and escape.

Well I went ahead and ordered one, so I guess we'll see how well it works soon enough! I would be worried it would fall over, but since I'm using it to block a doorway instead of in a circle, I think it should be fine with a little external support. They will be supervised during playtime so I will watch for any sneaky attempts to escape!

My rats are both girls, I'm not exactly sure how old they are since I adopted them, but I think less than a year. Maybe if I were to cut the wall in half and then double up the height? I just need to block the entrance to the room, so only four feet of space.

if you only need to block the entrance why not just get a door or a peice of press board? the press board at least would be cheaper.

The entry way is much to big to use a door, and I can't afford one anyway. I already ordered the wall so unfortunately it's too late to change that. I realized that I have a huge piece of plexiglass that I use for photo shoots and it would be perfect to block the doorway. It is at least 3 feet tall so I doubt the ratties could jump over it. Plus it's clear, so if I had to leave for a minute I would still be able to see them.
