My dumbo rat, Chaos, has had a slight head tilt (to her right) for the past few weeks and it is very worrying.
One of my first rats passed away after a head tilt was left untreated by her previous owner, and we were too late when we brought her to the vet, so I am very paranoid about this being something severe.
She is still eating, playing, and grooming herself regularly, (and the head tilt isn’t that noticeable if she’s not standing still), but she has been more clumsy than usually and has been scratching her ears a lot.
I think it could be an ear infection based on what I found online, and I really want to take her to the vet to make sure it doesn’t develop into something severe. But I’m not sure if I’m just being paranoid.
If I can take her to the vet, I‘d have to convince my parents that it is a problem, and I’m also not sure if we have the money on hand at the moment, but I can deal with that.
I’ve attached some photos of Chaos (and can provide more if needed), I was hoping for some second opinions so I can confirm if this is an illness or if I’m just paranoid. Thank You :)

UPDATE- We took her to the vet and they suspected it was an ear infection too, we have her on antibiotics and some anti inflammatory medicine. She hasn’t had that much change yet (one dose), but thankfully she isn’t getting any worse. I’ll update again when we finish her meds in a few days.

Might be blind and just trying to see.
I actually was worried about this and thought it could be a possibility since she isn’t usually so clumsy, but I can’t see anything wrong with her eyes and the vet didn’t have any concern about them.

UPDATE 2- I’m so sorry for not updating (I think its been a month?), but Chaos is doing well! After the medication she started to get better quickly, her head tilt is gone and she’s still slightly clumsy but isn’t struggling. Thank you to everyone who replied, hopefully this could somehow help anyone who is worried their rat is sick? Idk lol :D
