So ive have taken my rats to the for vets for sneezing twice now. Theyve been doing well the past few months but now theyre sneezing again. Previously, at the vets they were prescribed baytril (enrofloxacin) and doxycyclin. i was wondering if i could give them ”Morning Bird Enrotex Broad Spectrum Antibiotic Bird Supplement” and what the dosage would be🤷‍♀️. If not i‘ll schedule them a vets appointment
this is copied from the description for use in birds:
  • Active Ingredients: Enrofloxacin (2.5g/100g).
  • Inactive Ingredients: Corn Maltodextrin.
Add one level teaspoon (5 grams) of Entrotex to one quart of clean drinking water OR mix one half level teaspoon (2.5 grams) of Entrotex to three teaspoons of clean drinking water and administer to the crop at a rate of one teaspoon (2.5 grams) per pound of bird's weight. Use as bird's only source of drinking water. Use fresh solution every day for five days.
thanks!

Idk. My only ever two rats have been healthy their whole lives so far (thank goodness). I hope you get a reply although if your rats are sick you should take them to the vet.
