I have no idea what to do with my rat Roddy. He bullies his cagemate and doesnt let him eat and bites me randomly. Today he bit me particularly hard for absolutely no reason! I wasnt holding food or anything like that he just came ober and bit me as hard as he could.
Scar Finger Wrist Chest Abdomen

I honestly don't know why he bites people! He loves being held and enjoys being combed but will randomly act out like this.
If ANYONE has any advice I could really use it right now!

Oww. That look sore.
If you haven't already, I would separate Roddy from his cagemate to give him a break.
Even though Roddy's friend shouldn't ordinarily live alone, it must be very stressful for him constantly watching his back and not having free access to food. He would probably have better quality of life for now, just being on his own until you figure out what to do about Roddy.

I'm so very sorry :( rat bites hurt!

You could try getting him desexed. I find that it reduces their hormones and makes them much more loving (to you and cage mates)! There are lots of articles written about it if you want to read more. Depending on where you live it's really not too expensive

However there are still other options like ratbusters stated!

I hope everything works out! :)

Yeesh! Talk about aggressive! All of my rats have been very agreeable so I don't have much experience here, but I'd probably establish definite 'time-out' periods after any bite incidents. Rats are keenly aware socially, and making Roddy cognizant is a good start. By the way, how old is Roddy?

you should try neutering if you can

Roddy sounds like he's a good candidate for neutering. He's a perfect example of a hormonally aggressive male. He is only behaving naturally for a rat, but that means injuries and a frightened mischief.
