Hi! So I’ve currently have my pet rat cream gotten from a really crappy pet store (didn’t know it was bad at the time) he’s about a year and a half old it looks to be? And recently adopted 2 young rats (Bongo and Bandit) from a breeder who are about 5 months old. How this all started: I originally got Cream along with his former cage mate Cookie. They got along great. Super sweet, always slept with eachother displayed healthy dominance etc, etc. Cookie recently passed away due to unknown heart failure (the vets had no idea how it happened as every time we took them for a check up they were healthy). We showed cream cookies body before we buried him so he would at least have some understanding of what happened. He passed away April 15th. We had reserved babies prior to his passing but weren’t able to get them right away. So cream was on his own for a bit. We finally got them in May but then when we took them to the vet for a check up, we found out the babies had worms. So we had to wait another 8 weeks before even letting them get close to eachother to avoid transmitting the worms. So cream had been without rat interaction for about 3 months. We always played with him so he wouldn’t be lonely and he loves us and is so cuddly with us. We finally got the okay to intro them, and started off with the keeping the cage near eachother to sniff and etc. (mind you they have already been in the same room during all of this, just spaced out. We did the neutral bathtub intro and immediately cream did not take a liking to our more dominant baby Bandit. It was immediate hedge hog fur and body shoving and broke out into a tumbling fight. With bongo our more docile baby, cream immediately puffed and body shoved but bongo stayed frozen and cream eventually left him alone but only for like 30 seconds to groom himself and eat a treat but then kept following Bongo. I’m concerned about bandit and cream and they both puff up and body shove right away when even sniffing eachother when we put their cages close together. Cream is way bigger than Bandit but it seems like Bandit is also trying to challenge cream as Alpha? Help please

also I’m worried that if we try the carrier method it will result in an immediate fight that will be hard to break :/
