I have three little girls. They're currently in a 4 level coast cage (I'm not a fan). Two of my girls are wheel runners. They've already been through 2 wheels and broken bars on their cage (caused by the wheel)

I've been researching a new home. What is the better choice for three girls. It must hold a wheel. Martin's cage R-690 or R-695? Finally....How are the wheels Martin sells?

How many rats can a cage 24X14X36 hold?

I'm not having success with the rat calculator.

Thanks in advance for the help!

3, I believe, if space is used well. I'd be a bit worried about the 14 in side, my boys would dwarf it, I think.

Bigger is always better. Martin's are highly recommended, but I don't know about their wheels.

Thank You for your responses. I ordered a Martin 690 (RAT TOWER - powdered with flip top). I also ordered the large wheel, new food dishes, and water bottle.
I placed the order late yesterday afternoon and it has already shipped. They're very quick!
