My cage is undecorated. Does anyone know how to change that? Thanks!
Hiding hutts, wheel, flying saucer, little things they can crawl through, chewing toys, hammocks (super easy to make with fleece!) and also, bird food dishes are great because they clip right in the cage and the rats can't tip it over! Good luck with filling your cage. It's super fun :)

I suggest the silent spinner large (12 inch) wheel. I also love space pods. They hang from the top of the cage or can sit on the bottom. My girls love both of these. Climbing ropes (like the perches for birds) or ropes and plastic shower rings from the dollar store make great cage toys. My rats also have lots of hammocks that I hang in their cages. If you can't make or buy your own hammocks, you can make them cheaply with an old dishcloth and 4 metal shower curtain hooks.
