Sometime some of my babys get these sort of hiccups. Why? What cuases them?

Lots of rats get hiccups. There are some that say that a rat that gets hiccups is more prone to respiratory problems but I had a girl who hiccupped regularly and never had respiratory problems. Her only ill health was cataracts at 26 months and PT at 27 months.

I would assume the cause is very similar to our own.
