How long can 2 4 week old baby rats from a bin live in the kaytee rat home before moving to a critter nation?

I would not use a Kaytee rat cage, I tried one once, the bars are too far apart for babies and the door was very hard to close. I returned mine and never used it.

Strangly, it works well for me, all my babies have lived there

If you already have one and it works for you, then I would say 2 babies can stay in there for a couple of months if needed.
