Hi so I have had three adult males for about 11 months now they are a year old now. I recently rescued 4 adult males and 3 baby (8 weeks old i think), i normally would never get that many rats at once but they were in a bad situation. anyway, how long should i wait before i try introducing the babys to the adults?

Someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but I just finished introducing my adult males to my 6 week old baby, and from the research I did beforehand the ideal age to introduce babies to males is between 6 and 10 weeks (being very cautious, of course, 'cause the babies are so tiny in comparison). Theory being that at that age they don't pose a territorial threat nor do they stand up to the adults, which will for the most part just leave them alone.
From my experience I'd say that's about right - the introduction went better and faster than I ever expected, to my great relief!
